A Sleepless Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABCADADAAD

Within the hollow silence of the nightA
I lay awake and listened I could hearB
Planet with punctual planet chiming clearC
And unto star star cadencing arightA
Nor these alone cloistered from deafening sightA
All things that are made music to my earB
Hushed woods dumb caves and many a soundless mereC
With Arctic mains in rigid sleep locked tightA
But ever with this chant from shore and seaD
From singing constellation humming thoughtA
And life through time's stops blowing variouslyD
A melancholy undertone was wroughtA
And from its boundless prison house I caughtA
The awful wail of lone EternityD
