A Question Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG| Love wilt thou love me still when wintry streak | A |
| Steals on the tresses of autumnal brow | B |
| When the pale rose hath perished in my cheek | A |
| And those are wrinkles that are dimples now | B |
| Wilt thou when this fond arm that here I twine | C |
| Round thy dear neck to help thee in thy need | D |
| Droops faint and feeble and hath need of thine | C |
| Be then my prop and not a broken reed | D |
| When thou canst only glean along the Past | E |
| And garner in thy heart what Time doth leave | F |
| O wilt thou then to me love cling as fast | E |
| As nest of April to December eave | F |
| And while my beauty dwindles and decays | G |
| Still warm thee by the embers of my gaze | G |
