| Our youthful passions have dissolved | C |
| As though a dream or morning haze | D |
| Yet still we re burning with desire | E |
| And with impatience in our souls | F |
| Beneath the yoke of strength and fire | E |
| We hark our country s pleading calls | G |
| In expectation full of ardor | E |
| The day of freedom we await | H |
| Thus waits a youthful eager lover | E |
| The moment of the promised date | H |
| And whilst with liberty we burn | I |
| And whilst our hearts adore ovation | J |
| Our country needs us let us turn | I |
| And dedicate our soul s elation | J |
| My friend believe me that with thunder | E |
| The star of joy will rise again | K |
| And Russia will arise from slumber | E |
| Our names will be incised with wonder | E |
| On remnants of oppressive reign | L |
