I've Lived To See Desire Vanish Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFGF

I ve lived to see desire vanishA
With hope I ve slowly come to partB
And I am left with only anguishA
The fruit of emptiness at heartB
-
Under the storms of merciless fateC
My worn and withered garland liesD
In sadness lonesome I awaitC
How far away is my demiseD
-
Thus conquered by a tardy frostE
Through gale s whistling and shimmerF
Late on a naked limb exposedG
A lonesome leaf is left to quiverF
