Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFEG HIHI

Few words are best I wish you wellA
Bethel I'm told will soon be hereB
Some morning walks along the MallC
And evening friends will end the yearD
-
If in this interval betweenE
The falling leaf and coming frostF
You please to see on Twit'nam greenE
Your friend your poet and your hostG
-
For three whole days you here may restH
From office business news and strifeI
And what most folks would think a jestH
Want nothing else except your wifeI
