To Erinna Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABBCC

Though sprightly Sappho force our love and praiseA
A softer wonder my pleased soul surveysA
The mild Erinna blushing in her baysA
So while the sun's broad beam yet strikes the sightB
All mild appears the moon's more sober lightB
Serene in virgin majesty she shinesC
And unobserved the glaring sun declinesC
