The Three Gentle Shepherds Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCBBBB

Of gentle Philips will I ever singA
With gentle Philips shall the valleys ringA
My numbers too for ever will I varyB
With gentle Budgell and with gentle CareyB
Or if in ranging of the names I judge illC
With gentle Carey and with gentle BudgellC
Oh may all gentle bards together place yeB
Men of good hearts and men of delicacyB
May satire ne'er befool ye or beknave yeB
And from all wits that have a knack God save yeB
