Wordsworth's Daffodils Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABA ABA ABA ABA ABA ABAA

Far away over meadows fields and hillsA
Or through oak woodland which is ever sweetB
Seeking out Wordsworth's golden daffodilsA
-
Early morning amid the dewy chillsA
Where a dawn kissed grassland moistens the feetB
Far away over meadows fields and hillsA
-
A perfumed carpet your raw sense it fillsA
With a yellow trumpeted aspect repleteB
Seeking out Wordsworth's golden daffodilsA
-
And by the noon as mid day sunlight spillsA
I wander onward down a floral streetB
Far away over meadows fields and hillsA
-
By farmstead ruins and old water millsA
Where sheep now dwell and brightly bleat and eatB
Seeking out Wordsworth's golden daffodilsA
-
So the land where the poet whet his skillsA
I walk at springtime in nature's eliteB
Far away over meadows fields and hillsA
Seeking out Wordsworth's golden daffodilsA
