Rose Of Paper Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEG HH

You are alike to a fine paper roseA
Perfectly crafted scarlet and snow whiteB
Within your eyes the paper rosebud growsA
Sanguine and bright the most beauteous sightB
-
A petal of white A petal of redC
Blend into pink as they shamelessly blushD
Colours of you how they go to my headC
Remind me of summer sun kissed and lushD
-
My paper rose crinkles held in my palmE
So softly gently the sound greets my earsF
Retarding my heartbeat tranquilly calmE
As soft as raindrops god's heavenly tearsG
-
Flower of nature must die heretoforeH
Flower of paper may live evermoreH
