| As it snows I stay inside | B |

| Or the sunburn in the vale | C |
| Nor the damp as raindrops sail | C |
| I love the biting snowflake hail | C |

| A gust may roar throughout the night | D |
| But by the day the sun may bright | D |
| A storm may rage with all its might | D |
| The winter snowfall purest white | D |

| So come what may my senses see | E |
| All that nature gifts to me | E |
