Jack O' Box Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH IJKLMNMN

He lives within his Toytown houseA
And stays contented thereB
Happy silent as a mouseA
Dozed in his tortile chairB
Ready and alert is heC
Uncertain what's in storeD
Thinking next who it may beC
Comes knocking at his doorD
-
-
-
Will someone call to visit soonE
Will someone come to playF
Will someone tease and hum a tuneE
Upon this very dayF
All alone he'll sit and mopeG
The smile washed from his faceH
Sadly tearful in the hopeG
Some antic should take placeH
-
-
-
But wait what's this a fuss he hearsI
Along the nursery laneJ
He cocks his head and pricks his earsK
And harkens it againL
Did he sense a stir so slightM
Yes he's sure he didN
He springs and gives them such a frightM
When someone lifts his lidN
