Beyond The Rain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBADED AFGFAHGH AIJIAKDL AMNMAOKO

Where have all the raindrops goneA
Spilling from on highB
Which once would fall about my headC
But now my head is dryB
Where have all the snowflakes goneA
Ambling down from spaceD
Shivering in the winter wildE
And melting on my faceD
-
Where have all the rivers goneA
Dashing to and froF
They once would splash across the landG
As seaward they would goF
Where have all the oceans goneA
To crash against the shoreH
All that's left is salted sandG
Upon a seabed floorH
-
Where have all the rainbows goneA
They lighted up the daysI
They once would bow and bend and reachJ
So far the eye could gazeI
Where have all the sundrops goneA
To energise the rainK
Absent now without a traceD
And never seen againL
-
And where have all my brothers goneA
Each walked the earth with meM
O'er moor and mountain here and thereN
From clifftop to the seaM
And where have all my sisters goneA
And all the loves I've knownO
Disappeared just like the rainK
So now I'm left aloneO
