Anatomy Of The Word Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAB AAAB AAAB AAAB

The hand that inks the essayA
The words of wisdom all that layA
Upon the page to rage and sayA
The things that bring such joy to meB
-
The eye that seeks and finds a wayA
To sob the story come what mayA
As thoughts and themes run wild astrayA
This eye will try to always seeB
-
The heart that beats without delayA
And rhymes the lines that dance and swayA
And bound and sound as blithely theyA
Never ever silent beB
-
The mind that minds his words todayA
And savours them for e'er to stayA
Within his soul then he may prayA
His mind will see mere words are weB
