I look up to skywardA
In the blue of the nightB
There silvery spangles I seeC
Hovered and distantD
Glowing and brightB
Performing a show just for meC
-
Where do they come fromE
May well you might askF
Why do they shine with the moonG
Who could have brought themH
A gargantuan taskF
Bedecking a dazzled festoonG
-
Led by PolarisI
The brightest one thereJ
Highlighting night sky in the NorthK
Seven sisters smilingL
The plough comes to shareJ
All that the heavens bring forthK
-
But where do they run toM
When daytime gives birthN
Where do they go Go they mustO
As sunlight approachesP
They fall to the earthN
And sprinkle the ground with stardustO
