The Three Foxes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA AAAA AAAA AAAA AAAAA

Once upon a time there were three little foxesA
Who didn t wear stockings and they didn t wear socksesA
But they all had handkerchiefs to blow their nosesA
And they kept their handkerchiefs in cardboard boxesA
-
And they lived in forest in three little housesA
And they didn t wear coats and they didn t wear trousiesA
They ran through the woods on their little bare tootsiesA
And they played Touch Last with a family of mousesA
-
They didn t go shopping in the High Street shopsesA
But caught what they wanted in the woods and copsesA
They all went fishing and they caught three wormsesA
They went out hunting and they caught three wopsesA
-
They wen to a Fair and they all won prizesA
Tree plum puddingses and three mince piesesA
They rode on elephants and swang on swingsesA
And hit three coco nuts at coco nut shiesesA
-
That s all I know of three little foxesA
Who kept their handkerchiefs in three little boxesA
They lived in the forest in three little housesA
But they didn t wear coats and they didn t wear trousiesA
And they didn t wear stockings and they didn t wear socksesA
