Christopher RobinA
Had wheezlesB
And sneezlesB
They bundled himC
IntoD
His bedE
They gave him what goesB
With a cold in the noseB
And some more for a coldF
In the headE
They wonderedG
If wheezlesB
Could turnH
Into measlesB
If sneezlesB
Would turnH
Into mumpsB
The examined his chestI
For a rashJ
and the restI
Of his body for swellings and lumpsB
They sent for some doctorsB
In sneezlesB
And wheezlesB
To tell them what oughtK
To be doneA
-
All sorts of conditionsB
Of famous physiciansB
Came hurrying roundL
At a runA
They all made a noteM
Of the state of his throatM
They asked if he suffered from thirstN
They asked if the sneezlesB
Came after the wheezlesB
Or if the first sneezleO
Came firstN
They said If you teazleO
A sneezleO
Or wheezleO
A measleO
May easily growP
But humour or pleazleO
The wheezleO
Or sneezleO
The measleO
Will certainly goP
They expounded the reazlesB
For sneezlesB
And wheezlesB
The manner of measlesB
When newD
They said If he freezlesB
In draughts and in breezlesB
Then PHTHEEZLESB
May even ensueB
-
Christopher RobinA
Got up in the morningQ
The sneezles had vanished awayR
And the look in his eyeS
Seemed to say to the skyS
Now how to amuse them todayR
