At The Zoo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBBCDC CCECFGDC HCICCCDC

There are lions and roaring tigersA
and enormous camels and thingsB
There are biffalo buffalo bisonsB
and a great big bear with wingsB
There's a sort of a tiny potamusB
and a tiny nosserus tooC
But I gave buns to the elephantD
when I went down to the ZooC
-
There are badgers and bidgers and bodgersC
and a Super in tendent's HouseC
There are masses of goats and a PolarE
and different kinds of mouseC
And I think there's a sort of a somethingF
which is called a wallabooG
But I gave buns to the elephantD
when I went down to the ZooC
-
If you try to talk to the bisonH
he never quite understandsC
You can't shake hands with a mingoI
he doesn't like shaking handsC
And lions and roaring tigersC
hate saying How do you doC
But I give buns to the elephantD
when I go down to the ZooC
