As the gentle wind blows,
With teardrops falling from the sky,
As life becomes slow,
I try to remember those times

I remember that daisy,
Its petals pink and bright
And even though it was cheerful through the day
It closed its petals at night

I remember that night I looked up at the sky,
Rewinding the moments of that night in June
I remember the day raindrops kissed my cheeks
As I stared at the beautiful crescent moon

I remember that yellow daffodil
How it smiled with the moving air
I remember that beautiful starry night
The one which welcomed me with a longing stare

I'm stuck in a fantasy
With autumn leaves red and brown
Until reality wakes me
Its voice preparing me to drown.
