Spiritual Need Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HGIFAEJFEK LFMNOPE

There is inadequacy within meA
There is hunger that keeps hauntingB
A thirst that lacks fillC
For I have experienced such a gapD
I groan in nights for need of an encounterE
But my flesh limits me from what I needF
For my needs are spiritualG
-
My body is clothedH
But the need is insatiableG
My body is fedI
But not with what I needF
My eyes seeA
But aren't satisfied with what they desireE
Money have I gotJ
But not enough of what I needF
Though I believe if I meet my RedeemerE
My heart will be at peaceK
-
Hail Father My heart is contriteL
For my spirit is in needF
Fill my heart with abundanceM
Quench my thirst with waters that flow from your throneN
For then I will be strengthened renewed established and flourishO
To you in whom my roots are establishedP
Do I make such a prayerE
