Wide and far his tours had beenA
Where men picked what they could not carryB
Disasters he had forsaid wars and meanC
In his holy record heaven's map beB
That the street is narrow bends no pointsD
Now the prophet is gone the weight of sin is soldE
But his words has stayed and took eternal jointsD
And the life he lived very little is toldE

The clash of belief he had foughtF
Those who failed to accept his godG
Never let the case rest at courtH
How he knelt to wail like a studI
O Lord drag these heavenly sheep to meB
Though the devil's strength world's pursuitJ
For reasons that were not supposed to beB
Made them to their plans more resoluteJ

Blessed lies the head of this clericK
Faith in God's religion which soL
Defended he till his health got sickK
Here heaped some stones to lay him lowL
For the death he embraced with loathingM
And since he lived life opulent but rawN
Trode the pagan's land who wears no clothingM
History is his picture I can drawO
