Love--a Hidden Snake In Rose Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDAEAAAF

Before men and sun at heaven towardA
Love sworn then I vouched and believeB
Her most oath To ne'er be such frowardA
As all loves do bring and thankly receiveB
O why mine love give hers like adderC
Drenched me in blood To peck her faceD
I be singly placed low in grave ratherC
Of her smiling at my black disgraceD
Whilst you and death shall sheath your dartA
Even when they mean to speak me truthE
Will better trust men's belly for their heartA
Neither pluck roses Nor touch its sweet shootA
All ignorances I surcease on this awry noteA
That love is a hidden snake in roseF
