(A requiem for Late Madam Rachael A.Obadofin)
GrandMa,why shut the door?
Your folks can't hold this rue
Both your friends are crying sore
I know they all miss you too.
Grandma,why shut the door?
Clocks on wall ticking now!now!now!
Your children are pushing on more
You know they can't do it all in a row.
GrandMa,why shut the door?
We're always happy to show you love
And we've got more for you in store
Why has death added to enigma we can't prove?
Grandma,Why shut the door?
Come and take us to the stream
Take your kernel oil and rub us raw
O sweet as kind,so caring as you seem.
Grandma,why shut the door?
Put some beans cake on my bread
Give me a pot of water to wash my maw
If i'm asleep, treat me gently to your stead.
Grandma,You can shut the door
With joy we wave you,goodnight
To a guided path,have a safe tour
That cross you into heavenly light.
