Curse God And Die (for My Brother Oluwaseun Ayobami Samson) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBBCCDBDBBBBBBEBE FGHIJJ

If I was born about centuries agoA
With vulgar voice and full puissanceB
Of beastial gallantry that laughs at woeA
As who strangles dragons by their tonguesB
and throttled aleviathan with his manesB
Fought hades and executed its banesB
I shall lift my head yonder skyC
Curse God and dieC
I know he shall summon me of this sinD
Stay and give ears to his alibisB
To be sure whoso that lose or winD
Inquires him of what your demise isB
He prove to me why spares the worseB
And good men taken away by forceB
The just punished it maybe trity sacrednessB
Those lacking scruples for their stupidnessB
I shall ask of nights full of loathing evilsB
And sweet spring buds fallingE
By windstorms and unfed weevilsB
Withering away at first bloomingE
But if you die withno his wit O brotherF
And my judgment discarded unansweredG
I shall plead my rebellion and repentH
Then let men prepare for unbeknown deathI
Young and old Short and tallJ
Poor and rich Great and smallJ
