O God I cain't believe it's new dayA
Mystery art thy works I cannot learnB
Thy providence no man can repayA
With many treasures or which he earnB
But Sire O God see that I quaveC
I slept o'ernight withno taste of foodD
Within my seared neck my throat cleaveE
I'm now in kind of faint moodD
How this I suffer an ox's typeF
My stomach cries and blood sickly seepG
When even would my farm ripeF
As barren lies my mother sheepG
Mine nanny goats gives no birthH
Blest me For I ne'er begged beforeI
So I remit my heavy debtsJ
I rely on my wife bless her too moreI
Pardon me if it be my foul sinK
Descend thy spirit let it fill me inK
Thou art my father I'm rebornL
And today I become thine sonM
