A Fragment Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKLM

They say that poison sprinkled flowersA
Are sweeter in perfumeB
Than when untouched by deadly dewC
They glowed in early bloomB
-
They say that men condemned to dieD
Have quaffed the sweetened wineE
With higher relish than the juiceF
Of the untampered vineE
-
They say that in the witch's songG
Though rude and harsh it beH
There blends a wild mysterious strainI
Of weirdest melodyH
-
And I believe the devil's voiceJ
Sinks deeper in our earK
Than any whisper sent from HeavenL
However sweet and clearM
