Tired Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BBC DDD EEE FFF GGG HHH III JJJ KKK LLL KKK

O For wings that I might soarA
A little way above the floorA
A little way beyond the roarA
-
A little nearer to the skyB
To the blue hills lifted highB
Out of all our miseryC
-
Where alone is heard the larkD
Warbling in the infinite arcD
From the dawning to the darkD
-
Where the callow eaglets winkE
On the bare and breezy brinkE
And slow pinions rise and sinkE
-
Where the dim white breakers beatF
Under cloud drifts at our feetF
Singing singing low and sweetF
-
Where we see the glimmering bayG
Greyly melting far awayG
On the confines of the dayG
-
Where the green larch fringes sweepH
Rocky defiles still and steepH
Where the tender lichens creepH
-
Where the gentian blossoms blowI
Set in crystal stars of snowI
Where the downward torrents flowI
-
To the plains and yellow leasJ
Glancing twinkling through the treesJ
Pure as from celestial seasJ
-
Where the face of heaven has smiledK
Aye on freedom sweet and wildK
Aye on beauty undefiledK
-
Where no sound of human speechL
And no human passions reachL
Where the angels sit and teachL
-
Where no troublous foot has trodK
Where is impressed on the sodK
Only hand and heart of GodK
