Craven-heart Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BBB CCC DDD EEE

Those anguished voices in the airA
Oh I could shriek and tear my hairA
In rage rebellion and despairA
-
But what is one amid a throngB
So vast and merciless and strongB
To make attempt to right the wrongB
-
What ear would hear me if I criedC
And who would rally to my sideC
What could I do to stem the tideC
-
Though I should plunge in flood and flameD
And suffer every shame and blameD
The world would triumph all the sameD
-
I am not called upon to payE
So why join in the hopeless frayE
And waste my brief and precious dayE
