'T was cruel Love not Death had made the wound | G |
Death a more generous rage does use | H |
Quarter to all he conquers does refuse | I |
Whilst Love with barbarous mercy saves | J |
The vanquish'd lives to make them slaves | J |

Hard master the great task I have to do | L |
Who pride and scorn do undergo | K |
In tempests and rough seas thy galleys row | K |
They pant and groan and sigh but find | M |
Their sighs increase the angry wind | M |
