The Swallow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDEEFF

Foolish prater what dost thouA
So early at my window doB
Cruel bird thou'st ta'en awayC
A dream out of my arms to dayC
A dream that ne'er must equall'd beD
By all that waking eyes may seeD
Thou this damage to repairE
Nothing half so sweet and fairE
Nothing half so good canst bringF
Tho' men say thou bring'st the SpringF
