Cheer Up, My Mates Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CDECFFCGHHIIIIJKJ

Sitting and drinking in the chair made out of the relicsA
of Sir Francis Drake's shipB
-
-
Cheer up my mates the wind does fairly blowC
Clap on more sail and never spareD
Farewell all lands for now we areE
In the wide sea of drink and merrily we goC
Bless me 'tis hot another bowl of wineF
And we shall cut the burning LineF
Hey boys she scuds away and by my head I knowC
We round the world are sailing nowG
What dull men are those who tarry at homeH
When abroad they might wantonly roamH
And gain such experience and spy tooI
Such countries and wonders as I doI
But pr'ythee good pilot take heed what you doI
And fail not to touch at PeruI
With gold there the vessel we'll storeJ
And never and never be poorK
No never be poor any moreJ
