    This golden ring on my fourth finger,
    Reminds me of love when troubles linger,
    Calls to memory that solemn vow,
    To follow undaunted no matter how.
  • 2.  
    Nine anxious moons has passed
    Welcome, oh heaven-sent bundle
    This day wheeh! wheeh! turns profound
    Today permed hair turns gray too soon.
  • 3.  
    Throw me the drum of joy
    I want the song of apàlà
    My inner part needs the drum of bàtá
    I can let the sadness go off
  • 4.  
    I am not one of the professional writers
    But I wish to write a poem or two by joining together some letters,

    What I want to write I don't know
  • 5.  
    In emptiness, you sobbed to the stream
    If only you could have one if not many like Molara
    A deserted space you called yourself
    But no, you are a wonderful woman with a heart of Gold
