Oh Fair Enough Are Sky And Plain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGFG HIHI

Oh fair enough are sky and plainA
But I know fairer farB
Those are as beautiful againC
That in the water areB
-
The pools and rivers wash so cleanD
The trees and clouds and airE
The like on earth has never seenD
And oh that I were thereE
-
These are the thoughts I often thinkF
As I stand gazing downG
In act upon the cressy brinkF
To strip and dive and drownG
-
But in the golden sanded brooksH
And azure meres I spyI
A silly lad that longs and looksH
And wishes he were II
