Here is what is happening to meA
my old friend doesn't come to visitB
and in idle vanityA
come various folk not those who shouldC
And heA
goes about somewhere not with those he shouldC
and he understands that tooD
and our dischord is not cleared upE
and both of us suffer from thisF
Here is what is happening to meA
Not the right girl at all comes to visitB
she puts her hands on my shouldersG
and steals me from anotherH
And that oneI
tell me for God's sakeJ
on whose shoulders does she put her handsK
That oneI
from whom I was stolenI
in vengeance also will begin to stealL
She won't respond immediately this wayM
but will live in a struggle with herselfN
and unaware will selectO
someone superfluous for herH
Oh how many nervousP
and unhealthyA
unnecessary involvementsQ
unnecessary friendshipsR
Something rabidly desperate in meA
Oh somebodyA
comeS
break upE
the conjunctionI
of people alien to one anotherH
and the estrangementT
of souls that are kindredU
