Being Late Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFDGEHDIJKDDBHHH HHDBHHLEMNOHDPQRSTBU VTAWXHEY Z

Something dangerous is beginningA
I am coming late to my own selfB
I made an appointment with my thoughtsC
the thoughts were snatched from meD
I made an appointment with FaulknerE
but they made me go to a banquetF
I made an appointment with historyD
but a grass widow dragged me into bedG
Worse than barbed wireE
are birthday parties mine and others'H
and roasted suckling pigs hold meD
like a sprig of parsley between their teethI
Led away for goodJ
to a life absolutely not my ownK
everything that I eat eats meD
everything that I drink drinks meD
I made an appointment with myselfB
but they invite me to feast on my own spareribsH
I am garlanded from all sidesH
not by strings of bagels but by the holes of bagelsH
and I look like an anthology of zerosH
Life gets broken into hundreds of lifeletsH
that exhaust and execute meD
In order to get through to myselfB
I had to smash my body against others'H
and my fragments my smithereensH
are trampled by the roaring crowdL
I am trying to glue myself togetherE
but my arms are still severedM
I'd write with my left legN
but both the left and the rightO
have run off in different directionsH
I don't know where is my bodyD
And soul Did it really fly offP
without a murmured 'good bye 'Q
How do I break through to a faraway namesakeR
waiting for me in the cold somewhereS
I've forgotten under which clockT
I am waiting for myselfB
For those who don't know who they areU
time does not existV
No one is under the clockT
On the clock there is nothingA
I am late for my appointmentW
with me There is no oneX
Nothing but cigarette buttsH
Only one flickerE
A lonely dying sparkY
