Our Fathers Are Crying Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE AFGH IJKI LMEN ODPQRI STUVWW LAHWWWWWW

If we fail to see clearlyA
Of the wolve's plans and ways to keep Us confinedB
And the weapons they giveC
So that we may be the Death knockingD
The doors of our BrothersE
-
If we fail to see clearlyA
Of their plights and of their waysF
Then I ask what hope lies in the heart of a hunterG
Who knows not his way back homeH
-
I sit awaiting repliesI
I long to see the opening of your big mouthsJ
As they breathe life into wordsK
Oh I mean liesI
-
If we fail to see the lightL
Gleaming in from yesterday's chaosM
Through the voices of our FathersE
And their paths on EarthN
-
If we fail to see the light and the sadness on the facesO
Of our Fathers last night they came visitingD
What days do we awaitP
If not those of grief and remorseQ
As the forgotten dark days wage war upon UsR
For turning deaf ears to their yelling and criesI
-
I hear ThemS
I hear their echoesT
Searching for Names to callU
but of what use is their searchV
When Irokos now bare the names of ApplesW
Because they see no pride in their mightinessW
-
If we fail to see the lightL
If we fail to see clearlyA
If we fail to trace our paths back HomeH
What days shall come onto usW
But those of grief and remorseW
As the forgotten dark days of our FathersW
Wage war upon usW
For building our nest on Foreign LandsW
While our Homes bleed from lonelinessW
