A Thrush In The Moonlight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDBBB

In came the moon and covered me with wonderA
Touched me and was near me and made me very stillB
In came a rush of song like rain after thunderA
Pouring importunate on my window sillB
-
I lowered my head I hid it I would not see nor hearC
The birdsong had stricken me had brought the moon too nearD
But when I dared to lift my head night began to fillB
With singing in the darkness And then the thrush grew stillB
And the moon came in and silence on my window sillB
