Written Upon A Blank Leaf In Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABCADEEDED

WHILE flowing rivers yield a blameless sportA
Shall live the name of Walton Sage benignB
Whose pen the mysteries of the rod and lineB
Unfolding did not fruitlessly exhortA
To reverend watching of each still reportA
That Nature utters from her rural shrineB
Meek nobly versed in simple disciplineC
He found the longest summer day too shortA
To his loved pastime given by sedgy LeeD
Or down the tempting maze of Shawford brookE
Fairer than life itself in this sweet BookE
The cowslip bank and shady willow treeD
And the fresh meads where flowed from every nookE
Of his full bosom gladsome PietyD
