Weak Is The Will Of Man, His Judgement Blind Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBAABDADADA

'WEAK is the will of Man his judgment blindA
'Remembrance persecutes and Hope betraysB
'Heavy is woe and joy for human kindA
'A mournful thing so transient is the blaze 'C
Thus might 'he' paint our lot of mortal daysB
Who wants the glorious faculty assignedA
To elevate the more than reasoning MindA
And colour life's dark cloud with orient raysB
Imagination is that sacred powerD
Imagination lofty and refinedA
'Tis hers to pluck the amaranthine flowerD
Of Faith and round the Sufferer's temples bindA
Wreaths that endure affliction's heaviest showerD
And do not shrink from sorrow's keenest windA
