Water-fowl Observed Frequently Over The Lakes Of Rydal And Grasmere Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQIPR STUVWXY

Mark how the feathered tenants of the floodA
With grace of motion that might scarcely seemB
Inferior to angelical prolongC
Their curious pastime shaping in mid airD
And sometimes with ambitious wing that soarsE
High as the level of the mountain topsF
A circuit ampler than the lake beneathG
Their own domain but ever while intentH
On tracing and retracing that large roundI
Their jubilant activity evolvesJ
Hundreds of curves and circlets to and froK
Upward and downward progress intricateL
Yet unperplexed as if one spirit swayedM
Their indefatigable flight 'Tis doneN
Ten times or more I fancied it had ceasedO
But lo the vanished company againP
Ascending they approach I hear their wingsQ
Faint faint at first and then an eager soundI
Past in a moment and as faint againP
They tempt the sun to sport amid their plumesR
They tempt the water or the gleaming iceS
To show them a fair image 'tis themselvesT
Their own fair forms upon the glimmering plainU
Painted more soft and fair as they descendV
Almost to touch then up again aloftW
Up with a sally and a flash of speedX
As if they scorned both resting place and restY
