The Stars Are Mansions Built By Nature's Hand Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDCDCD

The stars are mansions built by Nature's handA
And haply there the spirits of the blestB
Dwell clothed in radiance their immortal vestB
Huge Ocean shows within his yellow strandA
A habitation marvellously plannedA
For life to occupy in love and restB
All that we see is dome or vault or nestB
Or fortress reared at Nature's sage commandA
Glad thought for every season but the SpringC
Gave it while cares were weighing on my heartD
'Mid song of birds and insects murmuringC
And while the youthful year's prolific artD
Of bud leaf blade and flower was fashioningC
Abodes where self disturbance hath no partD
