Steamboats, Viaducts, And Railways Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDDCEFGFHG

Motions and Means on land and sea at warA
With old poetic feeling not for thisB
Shall ye by Poets even be judged amissB
Nor shall your presence howsoe'er it marC
The loveliness of Nature prove a barC
To the Mind's gaining that prophetic senseD
Of future change that point of vision whenceD
May be discovered what in soul ye areC
In spite of all that beauty may disownE
In your harsh features Nature doth embraceF
Her lawful offspring in Man's art and TimeG
Pleased with your triumphs o'er his brother SpaceF
Accepts from your bold hands the proffered crownH
Of hope and smiles on you with cheer sublimeG
