Sonnets - Vii. - Said Secrecy To Cowardice And Fraud Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAAAAAAADAAD

Said Secrecy to Cowardice and FraudA
Falsehood and Treachery in close council metB
Deep under ground in Pluto's cabinetC
The frost of England's pride will soon be thawedA
Hooded the open brow that overawedA
Our schemes the faith and honour never yetA
By us with hope encountered be upsetA
For once I burst my bands and cry applaudA
Then whispered she The Bill is carrying outA
They heard and starting up the Brood of NightA
Clapped hands and shook with glee their matted locksD
All Powers and Places that abhor the lightA
Joined in the transport echoed back their shoutA
Hurrah for hugging his Ballot boxD
