Methought I Saw The Footsteps Of A Throne Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBCDADEAD

METHOUGHT I saw the footsteps of a throneA
Which mists and vapours from mine eyes did shroudB
Nor view of who might sit thereon allowedB
But all the steps and ground about were strownA
With sights the ruefullest that flesh and boneA
Ever put on a miserable crowdB
Sick hale old young who cried before that cloudB
'Thou art our king O Death to thee we groan 'C
Those steps I clomb the mists before me gaveD
Smooth way and I beheld the face of oneA
Sleeping alone within a mossy caveD
With her face up to heaven that seemed to haveE
Pleasing remembrance of a thought foregoneA
A lovely Beauty in a summer graveD
