Memorials Of A Tour In Italy, 1837 - Xxi. - At Florence--from Michael Angelo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACADAEFFEGH

Rapt above earth by power of one fair faceA
Hers in whose sway alone my heart delightsB
I mingle with the blest on those pure heightsB
Where Man yet mortal rarely finds a placeA
With Him who made the Work that Work accordsC
So well that by its help and through his graceA
I raise my thoughts inform my deeds and wordsD
Clasping her beauty in my soul's embraceA
Thus if from two fair eyes mine cannot turnE
I feel how in their presence doth abideF
Light which to God is both the way and guideF
And kindling at their lustre if I burnE
My noble fire emits the joyful rayG
That through the realms of glory shines for ayeH
