It Is No Spirit Who From Heaven Hath Flown Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDDAEFFEGGHGH

IT is no Spirit who from heaven hath flownA
And is descending on his embassyB
Nor Traveller gone from earth the heavens to espyB
'Tis Hesperus there he stands with glittering crownC
First admonition that the sun is downC
For yet it is broad day light clouds pass byD
A few are near him still and now the skyD
He hath it to himself 'tis all his ownA
O most ambitious Star an inquest wroughtE
Within me when I recognised thy lightF
A moment I was startled at the sightF
And while I gazed there came to me a thoughtE
That I might step beyond my natural raceG
As thou seem'st now to do might one day traceG
Some ground not mine and strong her strength aboveH
My Soul an Apparition in the placeG
Tread there with steps that no one shall reproveH
