Is There A Power That Can Sustain And Cheer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEDFEF

Is there a power that can sustain and cheerA
The captive chieftain by a tyrant's doomB
Forced to descend into his destined tombB
A dungeon dark where he must waste the yearA
And lie cut off from all his heart holds dearA
What time his injured country is a stageC
Whereon deliberate Valour and the rageC
Of righteous Vengeance side by side appearA
Filling from morn to night the heroic sceneD
With deeds of hope and everlasting praiseE
Say can he think of this with mind sereneD
And silent fetters Yes if visions brightF
Shine on his soul reflected from the daysE
When he himself was tried in open lightF
