Ecclesiastical Sonnets - Part Iii. - Xlv - Continued Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAADEAFGHGFH

They dreamt not of a perishable homeA
Who thus could build Be mine in hours of fearB
Or groveling thought to seek a refuge hereC
Or through the aisles of Westminster to roamA
Where bubbles burst and folly's dancing foamA
Melts if it cross the threshold where the wreathD
Of awe struck wisdom droops or let my pathE
Lead to that younger Pile whose sky like domeA
Hath typified by reach of daring artF
Infinity's embrace whose guardian crestG
The silent Cross among the stars shall spreadH
As now when She hath also seen her breastG
Filled with mementos satiate with its partF
Of grateful England's overflowing DeadH
