Composed In One Of The Valleys Of Westmoreland, On Easter Sunday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEDAAE

With each recurrence of this glorious mornA
That saw the Saviour in his human frameB
Rise from the dead 'erewhile the Cottage dameB
Put on fresh raiment till that hour unwornA
Domestic hands the home bred wool had shornA
And she who span it culled the daintiest fleeceC
In thoughtful reverence to the Prince of PeaceC
Whose temples bled beneath the platted thornA
A blest estate when piety sublimeD
These humble props disdained not O green dalesE
Sad may 'I' be who heard your sabbath chimeD
When Art's abused inventions were unknownA
Kind Nature's various wealth was all your ownA
And benefits were weighed in Reason's scalesE
