Composed During A Storm Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCBBCDEDFGD

One who was suffering tumult in his soulA
Yet failed to seek the sure relief of prayerB
Went forth his course surrendering to the careB
Of the fierce wind while mid day lightnings prowlC
Insidiously untimely thunders growlC
While trees dim seen in frenzied numbers tearB
The lingering remnant of their yellow hairB
And shivering wolves surprised with darkness howlC
As if the sun were not He raised his eyeD
Soul smitten for that instant did appearE
Large space 'mid dreadful clouds of purest skyD
An azure disc shield of TranquillityF
Invisible unlooked for ministerG
Of providential goodness ever nighD
