Faded Pictures Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EFFE GHHG CIIC

NLY two patient eyes to stareA
Out of the canvas All the restB
The warm green gown the small hands pressedB
Light in the lap the braided hairA
-
That must have made the sweet low browC
So earnest centuries agoD
When some one saw it change and glowD
All faded Just the eyes burn nowC
-
I dare say people pass and passE
Before the blistered little frameF
And dingy work without a nameF
Stuck in behind its square of glassE
-
But I well I left RaphaelG
Just to come drink these eyes of hersH
To think away the stains and blursH
And make all new again and wellG
-
Only for tears my head will bowC
Because there on my heart's last wallI
Scarce one tint left to tell it allI
A picture keeps its eyes somehowC
